Akila Dananjaya and Jeffrey Vandesay back in the ODI side

The newly appointed selection committee held a press conference to announce the 17-member ODI squad for the upcoming home series against Zimbabwe.

previously, they have named 21 members of the preliminary ODI squad, and out of those 21 players, Chamika Karunaratne, Chamika Gunasekara, Asitha Fernando, and Kamindu Mendis were not included in the main squad.

Wicketkeeper batter Kusal Mendis was named the captain of the side, while Charith Asalanka was named the vice captain of the side. Avishka Fernando, Jeffrey Vandesay, and Akila Dananjaya were brought back into the squad after a while.
