Upul Tharanga has appointed as Chairman of the new selection committee

Sport Minister of Sri Lanka Harin Fernando has appointed five members to the Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee. Former Sri Lankan captain and opening batsman Upul Tharanga was named as the chairman of the selection committee, while Dilruwan Perera, Tharanga Paranavithana, Ajantha Mendis, and Indika de Seram were included in the committee.
