South Africa and Zimbabwe shared the points

South Africa’s match against Zimbabwe was washed out at Hobart on Monday. Zimbabwe captain Craig Ervine elected to bat first. But the match was reduced to 9 overs per side due to rain. However more than 2 hours delay, 9 over match was started. Zimbabwe manage to score 79 runs for the lost of 5 wickets in their 9 overs. Wesley Madhevere scored an unbeaten 35 runs in 18 balls.


In reply that South Africa could able to bat only just 3 overs and match was called off due to the rain. South Africa scored 51 runs for without losing a wicket in 3 overs. Quinton de Kock was the main contributer with 47 runs in just 18 balls. Unfortunately South Africa couldn’t cross the line in time and the points being shared.
