Sophie Molineux named as the new captain of the Australia Women’s team in all formats

Cricket Australia have officially announced the squads for the upcoming multi-format home series against the India Women’s team, which includes matches across all three formats.
In a major leadership update, Sophie Molineux has been appointed as the new all-format captain of the Australia Women’s team, succeeding Alyssa Healy as the national captain across Tests, ODIs, and T20Is.
Molineux’s appointment marks a new chapter for Australian women’s cricket, with the experienced all-rounder entrusted to lead the side through a demanding series against a strong Indian team on home soil.
