SLC president proposed Jay Shah as the ACC president for the second year in a row

The Asian Cricket Council Annual General Meeting was held in Bali, Indonesia, on January 31, 2024. Mr. Jay Shah was reappointed as the president of the Asian Cricket Council for another year at the AGM. ACC media report that, Mr. Jay Shah’s extension was proposed by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) president Mr. Shammi Silva for the second year in a row.

During the AGM, the Japan Cricket Association (Japan) and Persutan Cricket Indonesia (Indonesia) both joined as new members of the Asian Cricket Council.
