Rashid Khan will missed the ODI series against Sri Lanka

The Afghanistan Cricket Board’s National Selection Committee announced the 15-member squad for the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, which will get underway on February 9 at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy.

Afghanistan’s Trump card player, Rashid Khan, is not included in the squad because he is still recovering from back surgery. He also missed the Test match. Pacer Mohammad Saleem Safi has been ruled out of the ODI series due to a hamstring strain.

Hashmatullah Shahidi (C), Rahmat Shah (VC), Rahmanullah Gurbaz (WK), Ikram Alikhil (WK), Ibrahim Zadran, Riaz Hassan, Azmatullah Omarzai, Mohammad Nabi, Gulbadin Naib, Qais Ahmad, Noor Ahmad, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Fazal Haq Farooqi, Naveed Zadran and Farid Ahmad Malik.
