New Zealand start the series with a big win
New Zealand won by an Innings and 117 runs against 1st Test of the Two Match series against Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe won the toss and they elected to bat first and they all out for 164 runs. Donald Tiripano (49) and Prince Masvaure (42) made 85 runs partnership for 9th wicket. Neil Wagner took 6 wickets in 1st Innings of Zimbabwe. In reply that New Zealand made 576 runs lost of 6 wickets.Tom Latham (105), BJ Watling (107) and Ross Taylor (173) made hundred and help Black Caps to made a huge total. Zimbabwe started their second innings 412 runs behind and they manage to score 295 runs in 2nd Innings. Sean Williams fight hard and made 119 runs in 2nd Innings of Zimbabwe. However Zimbabwe fall 117 runs short. It claim Innings and 117 runs victory for New Zealand. Ross Taylor named man of the match for his 173 runs.
