Lasith Malinga will join with MI Cape Town
MI Cape Town announced that Sri Lankan legendary fast bowler Lasith Malinga will join MI Cape Town as their fast bowling coach in the upcoming SA20 League, which will get underway on January 10, 2024.

He is currently working with the Mumbai Indians as a fast bowling coach in the IPL. After his retirement in 2021, Lasith Malinga joined the Rajasthan Royals as their fast-bowling coach.
Since he made his debut in the IPL in 2009 for the Mumbai Indians, Lasith Malinga has played 122 IPL matches and claimed 170 wickets.
MI Cape Town also announced that Robin Peterson will be their head coach for the forthcoming season of the SA20 League.
