Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson took the game away from RCB

Rajasthan Royals registered a six-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 19th match of the Indian Premier League 2024 on Saturday at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The Rajasthan Royals captain won the toss and opted to bowl first.

After losing the toss, Royal Challengers Bengaluru scored 183 runs for a loss of 3 wickets in their 20 overs. Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli made a 125-run partnership for the first wicket. Faf du Plessis scored 44 runs. Virat Kohli was the star with the bat and scored an unbeaten 113 runs in 72 balls. For the Rajasthan Royals, Yuzvendra Chahal claimed two wickets.

In reply to that, the Rajasthan Royals chased down the target successfully and scored 189 runs for a loss of 4 wickets in 19.1 overs. After the dismissal of Yashasvi Jaiswal in the very first over, Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson made a 148-run partnership for the second wicket and took the game away from Bengaluru. Jos Buttler was the top scorer with an unbeaten 100, and Sanju Samson scored 69 runs.
