India women’s team won the series with one match to spare

India Women’s team registered 88 runs win over Home side, in 2nd ODI at the Canterbury on Wednesday. England Captain Amy Jones won the coin toss and elected to bowl first.

India Women’s pose huge total against England women’s. They made 333 runs for lost of 5 wickets in their 50 overs. Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur was the star with the bat and she scored an unbeaten 143 runs in 111 balls with 18 fours and 4 sixes. Harleen Deol contributed with 58 runs. Both Kaur and Deol added 113 runs for the 4th wicket. Smriti Mandhana made 40 and she passed the 3000 runs in ODI matches.

In reply that huge target England women’s bolwed out for 245 runs in 44.2 overs. Danielle Wyatt was the top scorer with 65 runs. Alice Capsey(39), Amy Jones(39) and Charlotte Dean(37) contributed with 30s. But it doesnt helped England to cross the line. For India Women’s Renuka Singh claimed 4 wickets.

With that win India women’s team won the series with one match to spare.
