India and Sri Lanka will play for the Gold Medal in Asia Games Women’s Cricket

India Women and Sri Lanka Women registered wins over Bangladesh Women and Pakistan Women, respectively, in the semi-finals of the Asian Games Women’s Cricket at Pingfeng Campus Cricket Field in Hangzhou.

In the first semi-final between India Women and Bangladesh Women, India Women won by 8 wickets. Bangladesh women batted first and bowled out 51 runs in 17.5 overs. In reply to that, India Women chased down the target successfully and scored 52 runs for a loss of 2 wickets in 8.2 overs.

In the second semi-final, Sri Lanka beat the Pakistan women by six wickets. Pakistan women batted first and scored 75 runs for a loss of nine wickets in their 20 overs. In response to that, the Sri Lanka women scored 77 runs for a loss of 4 wickets in 16.3 overs.

With those wins, Sri Lankan women and Indian women qualified for the Asia Games finals, and they will play for the gold medal. While Bangladesh women and Pakistan women play bronze medals
