I am impressed with the boys – Dimuth Karunarathne

New Zealand registered a 2-wicket win over Sri Lanka in the 1st Test match on Monday at Christchurch. At the end of the match, Sri Lankan skipper Dimuth Karunarathne joined the post-match press conference and shared his thoughts on the 1st Test between Sri Lanka and New Zealand. 

“We just want to win the game; we also had a chance to win the game if we got a couple of wickets early; we were in the game.” Dimuth Karunarathne said “Unfortunatly, we were on the losing side, as overall we did a really great job in here, losing a toss in a green pitch, but we batted really well. I am impressed with the boys for what they did in the last few days.” He added.
