Dambulla gets a new owner

The Sri Lanka Cricket Board announced that the Dambulla franchise will get a new owner for the upcoming season of the Lanka Premier League after the previous owner, Tamim Rahman, was arrested. According to the announcement, a leading civil engineering consulting firm based in Los Angeles, California, will be the new buyer of the team. With that, the Dambulla franchise team name changed to the Dambulla Sixers.
