Chamika will replace Dasun Shanaka
The Sri Lanka Cricket Board officially announced that all-rounder Chamika Karunaratne will replace Sri Lankan skipper Dasun Shanaka for the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 in India. According to the announcement, Dasun Shanaka was ruled out due to a right thigh muscle injury sustained during Sri Lanka’s match against Pakistan on October 10, and he needs three weeks to recover.
