Bangladesh registered a nine-wicket win over New Zealand

Bangladesh registered a nine-wicket win over New Zealand in the third ODI of the series on Saturday at McLean Park in Napier. Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto won the toss and opted to bowl first.

After losing the toss, New Zealand bowled out 98 runs in 31.4 overs. Will Young was the top scorer with 26 runs, and skipper Tom Latham scored 21 runs. Josh Clarkson made 16 runs, while Adithya Ashok contributed 10 runs. Other than that, no one was able to reach the double-figure mark. For Bangladesh, Soumya Sarkar, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, and Shoriful Islam shared three wickets each.

In reply to that, Bangladesh chased down the target successfully and scored 99 runs for a loss of 1 wicket in 15.1 overs. Najmul Hossain Shanto scored an unbeaten 51 runs, and Anamul Haque scored 37 runs.

Even though Bangladesh won the 3rd ODI, New Zealand cliched the series 2-1.
