Bismah Maroof has decided to step down from her captaincy
Pakistan Women’s Team captain Bismah Maroof has decided to step down from her captaincy, and she will remain available for selection as a player. Maroof became Pakistan’s skipper in September 2017.
She said that it was an honor to lead the Pakistan team. Aslo Maroof thinks that this is the right time for a transition and a chance to groom a young captain.
There has been no bigger honour for me than leading the 🇵🇰 team. Now, I feel that it is the right time for a transition and chance to groom a young captain. I will always be there to assist, guide and support the team and the young captain in every way. Pakistan Zindabad!
