Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sandeep Sharma shine against the Mumbai Indians

Rajasthan Royals registered a comfortable 9-wicket win over Mumbai Indians in the 38th match of the Indian Premier League 2024 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and opted to bat first.

After inning the toss, the Mumbai Indians scored 179 runs for a loss of nine wickets in their 20 overs. After losing four quick wickets, Tilak Varma and Nehal Wadhera made a 99-run partnership and rebuilt the innings. Tilak Varma was the top scorer with 65 runs, and Nehal Wadhera scored 49 runs. Mohammad Nabi contributed 23 runs. For the Rajasthan Royals, Sandeep Sharma claimed 5 wickets for just 18 runs in his 4 overs.

In reply to that, the Rajasthan Royals chased down the target successfully and scored 183 runs for a loss of 1 wicket in 18.4 overs. Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal made a 74-run partnership for the first wicket and laid the foundation for the comfortable chase. Jos Buttler scored 35 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal was the star with the bat and scored an unbeaten 104 runs in 60 balls. After the dismissal of Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal made an unbroken 109-run partnership for the second wicket. Sanju Samson scored an unbeaten 38 runs.
