The Pakistan Cricket Board has organized the Women’s League exhibition matches between the Amazons and Super Women. Ten foreign players from seven countries will participate in the series. Sri Lankan skipper Chamari Atapaththu and Bangladeshi Jahanara Alam, who are among those 10 players, received warm welcomes when they landed in Islamabad. Both Chamari and Jahanara will play for Super Women in the Women’s League.

Chamari Athapaththu shared her thoughts on the Women’s League and said that this league is very good for Pakistan’s young girls, and she hoped that Pakistani fans would enjoy this new experience.

However, both Chamari and Jahanara were not picked in the ongoing Women’s Premier League in India.
