Perth Scorchers registered their 2nd win

The Perth Scorchers registered a 61-run win over the Melbourne Stars in the 12th match of the Big Bash League on Friday at Melbourne. The Perth Scorchers captain, Ashton Turner, won the coin toss and elected to bat first.
After winning the toss, the Perth Scorchers scored 229 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their 20 overs. Josh Inglis was the top scorer with 74 runs, and Faf du Plessis scored 68 runs. Luke Wood took five wickets for the Melbourne Stars.
In response, the Melbourne Stars score 168 runs in 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets.Beau Webster scored 43 runs, and Nick Larkin scored 34 runs. For the Perth Scorchers, Jason Behrendorff took three wickets.
