Nuwan Thushara proves what he said a few years ago

Sri Lankan pacer Nuwan Thushara is having a good outing in the ongoing Abu Dhabi T10 League 2023. Thushara is among the leading wicket takers, and he has claimed 13 wickets in nine matches. He claimed 4 wickets for 12 runs against the Northern Warriors, which was recorded as the 2nd best bowling figure in this year’s T10 League.

Nuwan Thushara has slinging action like Sri Lankan legend Lasith Malinga. Three years ago, Nuwan Thushara made his debut in the Lanka Premier League against the Colombo Kings. During his debut LPL match, Thushara said that he learned a lot from Lasith Malinga and tried to do what Malinga did.

Three years later, in this year’s T10 League, Nuwan Thushara has proven that he is really trying to do what Malinga does. Nuwan Thushara claimed 13 wickets and became the 2nd leading wicket taker in the Abu Dhabi T10 League. 

Nuwan Thushara made his debut in T20I matches in 2022, and he played five T20I matches and claimed six wickets.
