Mohammad Shahzad returned to the Afghanistan lineup

The Afghanistan Cricket Board has named a 16-member squad for the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh. 36-year-old Mohammad Shahzad was brought back into the side after 2 years, and Hazratullah Zazai returned to the team after a while. 23-year-old uncapped Wafadar Momand was named for the T20I series.

Afghanistan’s white ball team already arrived in Bangladesh on July 1 to feature in a white ball series starting on July 5 in Chattogram. After the three-match ODI series, two-match T20I series will play at Sylhet on July 14 and 16.
