Kolkata Knight Riders registered their fourth win
Kolkata Knight Riders registered a 5-run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 47th match of the Indian Premier League 2023 on Thursday at Hyderabad. Kolkata Knight Riders captain Nitish Rana won the toss and elected to bat first.
After winning the toss, the Kolkata Knight Riders scored 171 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their 20 overs. Rinku Singh was the top scorer with 46 runs, and skipper Nitish Rana scored 42 runs. For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Marco Jansen and T Natarajan claimed two wickets each.
In reply, Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to score 168 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their 20 overs. Skipper Aiden Markram scored 41 runs, while Heinrich Klaasen contributed 36 runs. For the Kolkata Knight Riders, Vaibhav Arora and Shardul Thakur claimed two wickets each.
