England chased down the huge target successfully and kept it alive in the series

England registered a 7-wicket win over the West Indies in the 3rd T20I on Saturday at the National Cricket Stadium, St. George’s in Grenada. England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and opted to bowl first.

After losing the toss, the West Indies made a huge total and scored 222 runs for a loss of six wickets in their 20 overs. Nicholas Pooran was the top scorer with 82 runs in 45 balls, and Rovman Powell scored 39 runs. Sherfane Rutherford contributed with 29 runs. For England, Adil Rashid and Sam Curran claimed two wickets each.

In reply to that, England chased down the target successfully and scored 226 runs for three wickets in 19.5 overs. England got off to a solid start and made 115 runs for the first wicket. Skipper Jos Buttler scored 51 runs. Philip Salt was the star with the bat and scored an unbeaten 109 runs in 56 balls. Liam Livingstone contributed with 30 runs. At the back end of the inning, Harry Brook smashed an unbeaten 31 runs in just seven balls with four sixes.
