Dushmantha Chameera will not be available for Super Six stage
Sri Lanka Cricket announced that Sri Lankan pacer Dushmantha Chameera will not be available for the reminder of matches in the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers 2023 due to his injury. According to the report, he will return to Sri Lanka and engage in a rehabilitation program at the High Performance Center at the RPICS.
Dushmantha Chameera got an injured right pectoral muscle injury he sustained on the right shoulder during practicing ahead of Sri Lanka’s first game of the group stage of the qualifiers. Previously, SLC said that he would be available for Super Six stage matches. However, Sri Lankan young pacer Dilshan Madushanka will replace injured Dushmantha Chameera.
