On this day in 2018, Sri Lankan duo Angelo Mathews and Kusal Mendis batted through the day in a Test match against New Zealand. On the 4th day of the 1st Test match between Sri Lanka and New Zealand at Wellington, Mathews and Mendis made 239 runs while batting all day.
