CSK registered their fourth win
Chennai Super Kings registered a 7-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 29th match of the Indian Premier League 2023 on Friday at Chennai. Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni won the coin toss and elected to bowl first.
After losing the toss, Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 134 runs for 7 wickets in their 20 overs. Abhishek Sharma was the top scorer with 34 runs, and Rahul Tripathi scored 21 runs. The Chennai Super Kings bowlers kept things tight and put pressure on SRH. Ravindra Jadeja claimed three wickets.
In reply to that, Chennai Super Kings chased down the target successfully and scored 138 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 18.4 overs. Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 35 runs. Devon Conway was the main contributor with an unbeaten 77 runs. Both Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway made an 87-run partnership for the first wicket.
