Back-to-back wins for the Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals registered a 12-run win over Delhi Capitals in the 9th match of the Indian Premier League 2024 on Thursday at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and opted to bowl first.

After losing the toss, the Rajasthan Royals scored 185 runs for a loss of five wickets in their 20 overs. Riyan Parag was the star with the bat and scored an unbeaten 84 runs in 45 balls. Ravichandran Ashwin scored 29 runs, and Dhruv Jurel contributed with 20 runs. For the Delhi Capitals, Axar Patel claimed one wicket for 21 runs.

In reply to that, the Delhi Capitals managed to score 173 runs for a loss of 5 wickets in their 20 overs. David Warner was the top scorer, and unfortunately, he missed half a century by a run. Tristan Stubbs scored an unbeaten 44 runs in 23 balls, and Rishabh Pant scored 28 runs. For the Rajasthan Royals, Yuzvendra Chahal claimed two wickets.
