Afghanistan won the decider
Afghanistan registered a four-wicket win over the United Arab Emirates in the third and final T20I of the series on Tuesday in Sharjah. United Arab Emirates captain Muhammad Waseem won the toss and opted to bat first.
After winning the toss, the United Arab Emirates managed to score 126 runs for a loss of nine wickets in their 20 overs. UAE lasts their top order cheaply. Skipper Muhammad Waseem was the top scorer with 27 runs, and Ali Naseer had 21 runs. Muhammad Jawadullah scored an unbeaten 13 runs. For Afghanistan, Naveen-ul-Haq claimed 4 wickets, while Qais Ahmad chipped in with 3 wickets.
In reply to that, Afghanistan chased down the target successfully and scored 128 for a loss of six wickets in 18.3 overs. Hazratullah Zazai was the top scorer for Afghanistan with 36 runs, while Najibullah Zadran contributed with an unbeaten 28 runs. Skipper Ibrahim Zadran scored 23 runs.
