A comfortable win for Chennai
Chennai Super Kings registered a comfortable 63-run win over Gujarat Titans in the 7th match of the Indian Premier League 2024 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Tuesday. Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill won the toss and opted to bowl first.
After losing the toss, the Chennai Super Kings scored 206 runs for a loss of six wickets in their 20 overs. Both openers, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rachin Ravindra, scored 46 runs each. Shivam Dube was the top scorer with 51 runs on 23 balls. For the Gujarat Titans, Rashid Khan claimed two wickets.
In reply to that, the Gujarat Titans managed to score 143 runs for a loss of eight wickets in their 20 overs. Sai Sudharsan was the top scorer with 37 runs. Wriddhiman Saha and David Miller scored 21 runs each. For the Chennai Super Kings, Mustafizur Rahman, Deepak Chahar, and Tushar Deshpande claimed two wickets each.
